Brazilian Red Cloak (Megaskepasma erythrochlamys) is a striking tropical shrub known for its vibrant red bracts and lush green foliage, adding bold colour to subtropical gardens or large pots. Growing to approximately 2–3m high and approximately 1.5–2m wide, it forms an upright, bushy plant that thrives in warm climates. Best in bright light to part sun, it prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil, humidity, and protection from strong winds. Prune lightly to maintain shape and encourage vibrant blooms.
