Egyptian Star Flower ‘Lavender’, also known as Pentas lanceolata, displays soft lavender star-shaped flowers that bring a gentle tone to the garden. Flowering for extended periods in warm climates, it is a favourite for butterfly gardens and container displays. This compact perennial grows to around 40–60 cm high and wide. It performs best in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil, with regular watering during hot weather. Light pruning encourages bushy growth and continuous blooms.
