Jaboticaba Sabará (Plinia jaboticaba) is a classic but rare Brazilian fruit tree growing 3–5 m tall and 3–4 m wide, prized for its heavy crops of sweet, grape-like fruit borne directly on the trunk. As a seed-grown plant, it typically begins fruiting in 8–15 years, with faster results possible under warm, well-fed, ideal conditions. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with consistent moisture and slightly acidic soil, it’s a long-lived, low-maintenance tree that rewards patience with exceptional harvests and ornamental beauty. Currently 10-15cm high.
