Jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum) is a fast-growing evergreen climber prized for its masses of fragrant white flowers in late winter and spring. It typically reaches 4–6 m in height with a spread of around 2–3 m when supported on a trellis or fence. The plant has a twining growth pattern, making it ideal for covering walls, pergolas, or arches. Jasmine prefers a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering during active growth. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain shape and encourages healthy new growth.
