The Vanuatu Fan Palm (Licuala grandis), also known as the Ruffled Fan Palm, is a striking tropical palm admired for its large, glossy, pleated fan-shaped leaves and architectural form. It grows best in full sun to part shade with moderate water, preferring consistently moist but well-drained soil, and is well suited to pots or sheltered garden positions. It typically reaches around 2 metres in height and width, though size and growth rate can vary depending on climate, care, and growing conditions.
