Venus Fly Trap (Dionaea muscipula) is a carnivorous plant famous for its jaw-like traps that snap shut on insects, adding intrigue to any indoor or outdoor collection. Growing to approximately 15–25cm high and approximately 10–20cm wide, it forms a low, clumping plant ideal for pots or terrariums. Best in full sun to part sun, it prefers consistently moist, nutrient-poor soil, high humidity, and protection from strong winds.
