Basil ‘Holy’ (Ocimum tenuiflorum), also known as Tulsi, is a fragrant, bushy herb growing around 30–60cm high and 30–45cm wide, with an upright habit and beautifully aromatic leaves. It grows year-round in warm, frost-free climates where it acts as a short-lived perennial, but in cooler areas with cold winters it is typically grown as an annual. Thriving in full sun, well-drained soil, and regular watering, it’s perfect for soothing herbal teas, fresh cooking, traditional remedies, and sunny herb gardens or pots.
