Russian Comfrey (Symphytum × uplandicum) is a fast-growing perennial herb known for its large, hairy leaves and clusters of bell-shaped purple or blue flowers. It’s widely used in organic gardening as a nutrient accumulator, producing rich biomass for compost, mulch, and liquid fertiliser. Hardy and low-maintenance, it thrives in a variety of soils and is valued for improving soil health.
